The pattern consists of a 5 page printer friendly PDF file written in US crochet terms that includes:
- instruction page with materials, sizing, and construction info
- step by step written pattern with stitch counts
- photos of finished hat and how to sew the scar
--- Sizing ---
The pattern is written to fit adult cats and toy / miniature dog breeds. These hats generally fit cats 7-15lbs. The finished hat measurements are included in the pattern.
--- Materials You'll Need ---
In order to make this project, you'll need:
- 4.5mm / G / 7 crochet hook
- Darning needle for finishing
- Worsted / Medium / 4 weight yarn (Red Heart Super Saver, Bernat Premium Acrylic, Caron Simply Soft or similar) in the following colors:
- - - Black (24gr/.85oz, 42.5m/45yd)
- - - Green (18gr/.65oz, 31m/34yd)
- - - Gray (4gr/.2oz, 7m/8yd)
- - - Red (>1gr/.2oz, 1m/1yd)Recommended:
- Brush (if brushing the hair to give if the soft look). A pet brush works well.
