The finished hat is designed to fit most adult cats and extra small / miniature dog breeds.

This pattern is recommended for intermediate level crocheters because it involves some crochet techniques that may be hard for beginners, to include surface crochet, front loop only, and front post only crochet.

Materials Needed:
- 4.5mm / G / 7 crochet hook
- Darning needle for finishing
- Approx 60 yrds worsted weight yarn in black (for hat)
- Approx 15 yrds worsted weight yarn in red (for band)
- Small amount of stuffing (optional but recommended)
